South Jersey Umpires Association is proud to announce the recipients of our Scholar Athletes Scholarship Award at Burlington County College: James Goodwin and Ashleigh Johnson
This scholarship from South Jersey Umpires Association honors two Burlington County College student athletes. James maintains a 3.7 GPA and is majoring in History and Secondary Education. He has been BCC's starting pitcher this season with a current record of 2-1. James would like to continue his education at either Rutgers Univeristy-Camden or Caldwell College. Ashleigh maintains a 3.3 GPA and is majoring in Education. Ashleigh is a pitcher on BCC's softball team. She has a 1.95 ERA, two shut-outs, and one no-hitter so far this season. Ashleigh will be attending Kean College next year.
